Terms and Conditions


1/ Acknowledgement of the contract is to be in writing (email), by the client, or an accredited officer of the client company, or by an accredited third party acting on behalf of the client.
2/ Once a contract is agreed, full payment is only due when the client is satisfied with the copy. This process can include up to 3 re-drafts (and also a complete re-write if necessary), made in collaboration with the client. Should the client be unsatisfied with the copy after the final draft, the client may terminate the contract, and any part of the fee already paid is to be reimbursed. Whereupon:
i. the client will make no further use of the submitted material
ii. The client will absolve Omniscriptor UK of any responsibility for loss of income / costs / damages resulting from any delay this may have caused.
3/ Payment is to be made by cheque or electronic transfer. The invoice will be submitted on the acknowledgement of the contract, and will be for payment within 30 days. Omniscriptor Uk is a signatory to the UK Government's Better Payment Practice Code, and late payments (not received within 5 days of the due date) will be subject to an interest charge in line with the DTI's guidelines. This interest rate will be 8% + the current Bank of England reference rate, which for the period of July 1st 2008 - Dec 31st 2008 stands at 5%. Total interest charges that may be applied = 13%.
4/ To protect any sensitive data you may wish Omniscriptor UK to use, Omniscriptor UK will of course be happy to sign an NDA document.
5/ Should the client provide Omniscriptor UK with any copy to be checked / manipulated, it is hereby affirmed that the client is the copyright holder of this material, and that the client indemnifies Omniscriptor UK against any subsequent claims arising from its use.
6/ While Omniscriptor UK will make every effort to ensure that any copy supplied is both literal and free of any spelling errors, the final responsibility for this lies with the client. The client hereby resolves Omniscriptor UK from any costs incurred as a result of such errors.
7/ Following the receipt of the full payment, all copyright for the materials submitted is the property of the client. However, Omniscriptor UK reserves the right to utilise extracts of the work to promote the services of Omniscriptor UK.
